Description :	Sculpture monoxyle (?) comportant une importante terrasse. Des bandes de métal horizontales encerclent la terrasse et la figure afin d'éviter les fentes longitudinales du bois.

Historique :	Cette statue de saint Théobald pourrait dater de la 2e moitié du 17e siècle : elle a peut-être été réalisée vers 1659 pour les premières ostensions septennales inaugurées cette année-là au Dorat.

Précision sur_l'état :	Polychromie moderne. Statue restaurée par Daniel Nicaud en 1995 : consolida- tion du bois, restauration de l'arrière gauche très dégradé et fixation de l'avant-bras gauche.
Précision_sur la representation :	Le saint diacre porte une aube blanche évasée dans le bas, et une ample dalmatique vert d'eau, aux manches longues et ballonnées. Sur les épaules pend une cordelière se terminant par des glands à chaque extrémité. Il porte des chaussures noires à bout arrondi. Il tient un livre fermé dans la main gauche. La terrasse est peinte en bleu turquoise.
