Description :	La statue comporte une importante base rectangulaire dont les angles sont coupés, elle est peinte en marron. Le revers est plat mais travaillé.

Historique :	Cette statue de saint Etienne pourrait dater de la 2e moitié du 17e siècle : elle a peut-être été réalisée vers 1659 pour les premières ostensions septennales inaugurées cette année-là au Dorat.

Précision_sur la representation :	Le saint, debout, porte des chaussures noires à bout carré. Il est vêtu d'une grande aube blanche et d'une dalmatique rouge semée de fleurs de lys dorées et bordée d'un rinceau également doré. Sous la dalmatique on aperçoit sur les côtés les pans d'une étole rouge à franges dorées. Le long cou porte une tête au visage jeune entouré de cheveux bruns coiffés en mèches. Dans la main droite saint Etienne tient une pierre, dans l'autre un livre fermé sur le plat duquel est peinte une croix rouge.
