Historique :	Cet autel gallo-romain dédié à Hercule, signalé dès le 17e siècle par Robert du Dorat, a longtemps servi de support à l'un des piliers de la halle de Rancon. Après la destruction de la halle à la fin du 19e siècle, il fut déposé à la mairie en 1930, puis placé dans la chapelle Saint-Sébastien.
