Description :	La poignée de cette épée à deux mains est large et se termine par un très important bouton sphérique. Les quillons brasés de l'anneau de la garde, en demi-cercle, présentent des extrémités torsadées. Un fort talon est ménagé à l'avant de la poignée. La lame est allégée par des gorges.

Historique :	Cette épée à deux mains, appelée localement colichemarde, date vraisemblablement de la décennie 1530-1540. Elle était portée par les confrères devant la châsse du saint Domnolet lors des ostensions septennales. La confrérie de saint Domnolet, qui faisait ses exercices dans l'église détruite du même nom (située dans le quartier de l'Abbesaille à Limoges), ne semble pas antérieure au 16e siècle, l'élévation des reliques du saint datant précisément de 1534.
